The 100-mile trophy is now entering its fifth year. The 100-mile trophy started without CanAm vehicles, in 2019 Peter Schleifer (CanAm) and Michael Thier (FHR) decided to combine the two racing series CanAm (Canadian American Challenge Cup) and the 100MT. This step took the joint racing series in the right direction. Today, up to 35 vehicles in the category drive together on the track: CanAm, Sportscars, GT and touring cars of the upper performance class. Since the term 100-mile trophy contained little meaning, we decided to rename the racing series CanAm & Sportscars. Thus, it is clearly communicated to the outside world that high-calibre sports cars are in competition in this racing series.
